Annual Regional Conference of Worldcom Public Relations Group, the world’s leading partnership of public relations firms CASACOM has welcomed the Americas to Montréal
On September 10, 11 and 12 in Montréal, CASACOM house of communications hosted more than 100 professionals from 60 partner public relations firms from North and South America for the annual regional conference of Worldcom Public Relations Group, the largest partnership of independent public relations firms in the world.
Under the theme “We’re Better Together,” the conference welcomed senior executives from these firms to the InterContinental Montréal, where they heard reputed speakers talk about the profession’s current and future challenges. Worldcom’s eight practice groups also held meetings on specialized services, such as crisis and issues management, consumer communications, and travel and tourism .
The topics addressed during the three intensive conference days touched on campaign analysis, reputation management and customer satisfaction. Just like every meeting, this one also provided an opportunity for Worldcom to assess each firm according to very high standards, which the partner must meet to remain a member of the organization. An innovation of the Montréal conference was a “Generation Next” program tailored to younger firm members and that focused on the current trend of social media.
