International honours for iögo and CASACOM
We are proud to have won, with our client Ultima Foods, the prestigious Silver Anvil from the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) for the launch campaign of iögo, one of the best known product launches in Canada. We were the only Canadian company among the 800 finalists; these awards recognized the biggest names in the public relations industry. The award ceremony was held in New York in June 2013.
CASACOM also won the bronze award in the category “Canadian Campaign of the Year in Media Relations by an Agency” of the National Excellence Awards from the Canadian Public Relations Society (CPRS).

The arrival of Michaels stores rewarded
The simultaneous opening of the first seven Michaels stores in Quebec was very successful. For the integrated public relations and marketing program, CASACOM won two high-level recognitions. To start, we received a Platinum Award in the “External Public Relations” category Award of the Quebec Society of Professional Public Relations (SQPRP). We then won a Gold Award in the category “Canadian campaign of the year in marketing communications” of the National Excellence Awards from the Canadian Public Relations Society (CPRS).

Open house event recognized with gold excellence award
Our team won a Gold Excellence Award from the Québec Society of Professionals in 2011. The award was presented in the “Event” category for their first-ever open house event, “Doors Open.” With Stéphane Bellavance as our spokesperson, this event was held in 17 locations of Montréal, Québec, Trois-Rivières and Saguenay.
Tours of the sites, led by consulting engineers, attracted over 5,000 visitors. The positive feedback received from the public and participating firms also illustrated the success of not only the event, but also the realization of our primary objective, to promote awareness of engineering consulting. Marie-Josée Gagnon honoured by the 2013 RBC Canadian Women Entrepreneur Awards
Marie-Josée Gagnon was honoured by the 2013 RBC Canadian Women Entrepreneur Awards as a finalist in the RBC Momentum Award category. Organized by Women of Influence, this prestigious competition recognizes outstanding female entrepreneurs in Canada. More than 3,000 entrepreneurs were nominated, of which 18 were crowned.
The awardees have successfully overcome obstacles and capitalized on opportunities to deliver 10 per cent or more growth for three consecutive years. Marie-Josée’s exceptional business skills and her passion are acknowledged by this award.

The partners of CASACOM, among the top female entrepreneurs in Canada
Marie-Josée Gagnon and her partner Annick Belanger appeared on the W100 ranking of the Top Female Entrepreneurs in Canada.
Published in Châtelaine and Profit magazines, this prestigious annual ranking is compiled from a scoring system that takes into account, among other factors, the size, growth and profitability of a business. An interview with Marie-Josée Gagnon in Marketing Magazine was published for the occasion.
IWEC – International Women’s Entrepreneurial Challenge
Marie-Josée Gagnon was one of the winners of the 2013 edition of the International Women’s Entrepreneurial Challenge recognizing successful female entrepreneurs worldwide and supporting them in their international development. The awards ceremony was held in Lima, Peru, in November 2013. On this occasion, Marie-Josée gave a lecture on the best practices of the most respected companies. Specifically, she spoke of the principles presented in this post on the importance of visions and branding.
