I have always been a chatterbox. My parents never tire of reminding me that my little sister didn’t open her mouth until she turned two. How could she when I never let her get a word in otherwise?
I now see how my outgoing personality, energy, and eye for detail—I confess I’m a bit of a perfectionist—led to a career in communications. It started with a vocational diploma in fashion marketing at Lasalle College. In preparing my final project, a fashion show, it gave me my first taste of event planning. The experience confirmed my passion for communications and project coordination. My educational path continued at the Université de Montréal, where I received my bachelor’s in communications degree. Luckily for me, my studies included a six-month internship with a public relations firm as well.
My first job out of university was a marketing position in the hospitality industry. It was a great experience, but I was still drawn toward my first love, public relations. Imagine my joy when I landed at CASACOM, a communications company that shares my core values—authenticity, honesty, and compassion.
How do I spend my free time? Would you be surprised if I say it involves talking? I love going out with my friends, exploring all the great events and attractions Montreal has to offer, and working off my excess energy at the gym.
