You could describe me as a bundle of energy devoted to communications of every shape and form. But more than that, I’m a go-getter who is not afraid of a challenge.
I love to make sense of seemingly impossible ideas, breathe new life into projects, and simply be involved in exciting initiatives—even if these days projects are becoming more and more ambitious, deadlines tighter, and expectations higher. Despite all this, the word “impossible” has no place in my vocabulary.
With a bachelor’s in communication science from Université de Montréal, I’ve learned not only the importance of a work method but also that research is essential to any project. Although I really loved my courses, it was when I entered the workforce that I knew I had found my calling. I had an opportunity to intern at CASACOM, and my experience here, as well as my work recruiting 200 volunteers for Le Mondial Choral Loto-Québec in 2009, and my involvement in all aspects of the Marathon Choral, a 25-hour event to raise money for the Breast Cancer Foundation, convinced me I was on the right track.
Putting all my energy into everything I do comes naturally. Whether it is professionally, when I am conducting research, coordinating projects, and copywriting or in my free time, I never do anything halfway. I love arts and culture, and although I started painting only a year ago, I knew right away that I wouldn’t be able to stop anytime soon! Painting is anything but productivity-oriented, and it’s what helps me clear my mind. I’ve never been afraid to think big. I soon realized that small canvases weren’t going to be enough for me, and I moved on to large-scale projects with ample room to quench my thirst for creativity.
And you? What makes you tick?
