CASACOM’s Three Favourite PR & Communications Stories of the Week

What do great PR campaigns, a new Canadian business channel and communicating with senior management have in common? They just so happen to be the subjects of our three favourite PR and communications tips and stories of the week.

PR Campaigns:

A more detailed description of the criteria can be found in the link below.

  • They’re audience-focused
  • They’re well timed
  • They’re simple
  • They put old ideas in new packages
  • They humanize brands
  • They’re entertaining

The 24-hour channel is aimed at the business community and it will highlight Canadian financial news, as well as provide programming from the existing U.S. channel. Approximately 35% of its content will be produced domestically and broadcast from a new studio in Toronto’s financial district. At PR News’ Leadership Strategies for Communicators workshop in New York, Anthony Surratt, group vice president, corporate communications at Time Warner Cable shared 10 rules to follow when communicating with senior leadership.
