Jean-Michel Nahas is the new chair of Le Garde-Manger pour tous’ Board of directors
Our senior and associate vice-president, Jean-Michel Nahas, is now involved as chair of Le Garde-Manger pour tous. The work of this organization, which fights against food insecurity among youth, is crucial and we have supported it since our foundation.
Since his start at our firm, Jean-Michel has had the opportunity to rub shoulders on several occasions with the formidable team led by Ghislaine Théorêt, who prepares and delivers more than 3,000 hot meals every day for students in Montreal. “The mission of Le Garde-Manger pour tous goes straight to my heart,” says Jean-Michel. “All children should be able to eat healthy every day, it is a matter of dignity and fairness.”

Like many organizations, Le Garde-Manger pour tous has to deal with inflation issues and labor shortages. “There are many challenges, but the team shows resilience and inventiveness every day, mobilized by its larger-than-life mission,” concludes Jean-Michel.
About Le Garde-Manger pour tous
Le Garde-Manger Pour Tous’ mission is to relieve hunger and promote independence. Every day of the school calendar, the organization offers more than 3,000 hot and balanced lunches to elementary school students in 30 schools, 23 of which come from underprivileged backgrounds. It also distributes 200,000 kg of food annually to some twenty community organizations.
