Profile and expertise

Why I love what I do

Not being a great speaker, design is, for me, a way to communicate my ideas and express my creativity to make people experience emotions. Whether it’s through the materials used, the colors and the shapes, the use of design is not simply related to aestheticism; it’s complex problem solving, which requires well executed strategic thinking. But it’s also about curiosity, always wanting to learn, to discover and to stay in motion to stimulate the creative process. We underestimate the influence design has in our lives on a daily basis: it’s everywhere, from milk cartons to gin bottles. These consumer products sell an intention, and a story. At its core, designing is about being the storyteller for a brand, without having to say a word.

CASACOM’s expertise requires a close relationship with clients to fully understand their universe and all its little details. It’s this deep understanding of the client that allows for effective problem solving. It’s not just about executing, but about thinking, in order to find the best possible solution. The result is a relevant design that will have a real impact. I am fortunate to be part of a collective project that makes a difference, with people who really listen and pay incredible attention to detail.

What else…

If I’m not picking out a bottle of gin by its label, I can be found in the woodshed or at a good ramen restaurant.
