Key highlights
I am passionate about telling stories. As a former journalist, I love exploring what makes us tick, what makes us different and what unifies us. CASACOM provides me with the ability to tell stories about people, their organizations, their ideas and their accomplishments, across many platforms. I learn about clients’ work, their successes and the challenges they may have faced to get to where they are. It’s the joy of discovery. Ever since I was a cub reporter, I have known that if you scratch the surface, everyone – from every station in life – has a story that makes them fascinating. You just have to ask the right questions and listen. This is what CASACOM is about. We ask our clients questions, really listen to them and honour their stories by telling them to the audiences that are most important to them.
CASACOM is an organization with heart. It brings that heart to its employees, to its clients and to its communities through work with charities ranging from hot-lunch programs to entrepreneurship foundations to health research. Its culture is one of excellence, respect and a desire to constantly innovate and provide the best and most up-to-date client service.
On a personal note, I am a great believer in constantly expanding my thinking. The people who help me do that best in my life are my twin son and daughter. They are my greatest accomplishments. They teach me wisdom, tolerance and patience. And of course, they keep me fresh on the latest mobile technology (not to mention, how to use it!). Travelling also helps me broaden my perspectives. That is why I have chosen to visit, live and work around the world whenever possible, from Africa to Europe. Travel is the best teacher there is, giving the traveler insights into other cultures and ideas, of course, but also into oneself.
