Recognized across Canada for her insightful guidance in business strategy, public relations, sustainability, and governance, Marie-Josée Gagnon has helped over a thousand leaders strengthen their positioning and impact in their markets during her career. She holds a bachelor’s degree in political science from the Université de Montréal, is an alumni of the Harvard Business School, and is a certified corporate director from the IAS-Rotman. A former journalist and press attaché at the office of the Premier of Quebec, she has also held leadership roles at the Quebec General Delegation in Paris, Laurentian Bank, and AXOR. Highly active in the Montreal community, Marie-Josée co-chairs the Brave the Way campaign for the Université de Montréal and serves on the boards of the Chamber of Commerce of Metropolitan Montreal and Capsana. She has received several awards, including the RBC Canadian Women Entrepreneurship Award and the 2023 Mercuriades Award for Exceptional Women Leaders in the SME category. In 2017, she launched Brave, a series of podcast events designed to inspire people to use courage to live their best lives.
