The labour shortage has created a host of challenges. For the Saint-Hyacinthe School Service Centre, these included increased competition from the Maskoutains region’s top employers.

Casacom was commissioned to develop and execute an employer branding strategy for the CSSSH.

Results

Rallying slogan

“C’est ICI que ça se passe” (It all happens HERE) is a unifying slogan for the school service centre. It is used online, on posters, at job fairs and more.

Positive feedback

A majority of the school principals hired in 2022 noted the employer branding was authentic and distinctive.

Strategy and Activities

  • Survey all employees
  • Develop personas based on survey results and define distinctive traits
  • Write a manifesto on reasons to work for the CSSSH
  • Create a brand image around the “C’est ICI que ça se passe” (It all happens HERE) slogan
  • Recommend improvements to digital and print tools
  • Conceptualize videos, GIFs and animations
