One of the priorities at CASACOM is to offer team members concrete benefits that improve their lives. This is why we are proud to announce our new enhanced parental leave policy, aimed in particular at reducing the wealth gap between men and women.

CASACOM already offered its staff on parental leave access to full group bonuses, regardless of the duration of the absence, as well as group insurance coverage. However, we wanted to go further to support our future mothers. From now on, our employees in the Montreal office with two years of continuous service will be able to receive their full salary for 18 weeks, with no ceiling.

“These measures make it possible to reduce by nearly 40% of the wage gap that widens during maternity leave,” underlines Marie-Josée Gagnon, founding president of CASACOM. This is a significant initiative to address the wealth inequalities that remain between men and women.”

CASACOM aims to offer a similar and equitable formula to employees in the Toronto office, where the programs differ from Quebec.

“As employers, we have a responsibility to create positive change. This is a great source of motivation at CASACOM, which pushes us to constantly imagine and implement actions that improve the lives of our team and our community,” concludes Marie-Josée Gagnon.
