Two new talents join the communications house

We continue our growth with the addition of two new team members. We welcome Alexandre Lahaie as Director, Public Affairs and Government Relations, and Catherine Mounier-Desrochers as Director, Corporate Communication and Public Affairs. Together, they will help us support our clients with successful strategies for dealing with all levels of government.

“Alexandre and Catherine have acquired a fine understanding of the government systems in Quebec and Ottawa. Their expertise combined with their solid network of contacts with elected officials, the public service and the media already benefits our clients,” underlines Jean-Michel Nahas, Executive Vice President and Partner at CASACOM.

With more than 20 years of experience in communications, including 11 years in journalism and nine in active politics, Alexandre Lahaie stands out for his leadership and strategic advice. Having held an advisory role for several ministers, Health, Immigration, Public Security and Higher Education, he has developed close relationships with journalists, in political contacts and Quebec civil servants. His press relations and strategic planning expertise make him an asset for CASACOM.

Holder of a bachelor’s degree in political science and international development from McGill University and a master’s degree in diplomacy and international law from the American University of Paris, Catherine Mounier-Desrochers has keen expertise and insights into the political world. With her experience of the last 5 years in ministerial offices, where she contributed to the management of complex files and the creation of effective communication plans, she enriches CASACOM’s public affairs and communications offerings.
